THE LIGHTS BE BOKAN!
Congrats to Canadian cutie Lights & Beau Bokan who tied the knot May 12, 2012!
They had a backyard wedding, Lights rocked a sweetheart neckline and opted to keep her signature comb over in tack. Am I the only one wondering if she wore combat boots down the aisle as well?!

Sirens has been stepping up when it comes to fashion this spring. They are now selling shoes similar to the Jeffery Campbell Nightwalk and an assortment of Spring/Summer colors! Check out these fashion must-haves at your local Sirens store.
Check out this cute bustier from Forever 21, it’s very similar to one sold at Topshop for about $40. This one is $17.80. Perfect staple for spring and summer, wear it with high-waisted shorts or a maxi skirt.
Much Music VJ Liz Trinnear tweeted a photo of her OOTD, thanks to her I’m on a mission to find her shoes. Liz is rocking floating heels from..wait for it..SIRENS! The shoes came out this past Friday (May 11, 2012) and have already sold out at the Orfus Road and Yorkdale Mall locations. A sales rep at the Yorkdale location informed me that they are also available at Urban Behavior because both stores have the same owner. These shoes are so popular because they resemble the Jeffery Campbell Nightwalk shoes that retail for $$$. Sirens is selling these babies for only $35.
We love Manar S.’s pop of pink! Don’t you?

Prom Dresses 101
1) COLOUR: When picking a colour, pick a solid color! That rainbow ombre bedazzled dress you fell in love with at the mall yesterday when window shopping? Your kids will probably laugh at you when they get a hold of your prom photos.
2) LENGTH: Don’t go to short. It’s prom, not girls gone wild. If you’re tall a floor length gown may be more flattering as it will lengthen you and make you look leaner. If you’re on the shorter side avoid a maxi dress, it may take over your petite frame. Try a shorter lengh (just above the knee) but with a bubble shape. It will make your legs look shapely, not stubby.
3) SHAPE: I’ve never been a fan of the poofy cupcake style dress, I think a more formal fit is flattering for every decade. If you’re worried about your tummy or hips, go for an empire waist !

Lights at the 2012 Junos. I think this would be a great prom dress if your prom is more low key or if you want something more relaxed. My prom wasn’t anything spectacular considering I went to an all girls high school and the only guys there were the dates of my fellow classmates. This dress in red would be amazing for prom, I want to go again just so I can wear it !
